Your Story ....to date.......
You lived with my Father, Uncle and Grandparents in Jackson Heights. You were the sister of Charles Sr, my Grandfather. You were 8 years younger than Isabelle and 6 years younger than Julia. Isabelle lived with us growing up and we visited Julia all the time. So how come we never got to know ya ...Anna Tague?
This was 1930 and you were 29 years old living at 3214 86th St in Jackson Height, Queens with Charles, Isabelle, Sons Joseph and Charles on the 2nd floor. Downstairs were the Quinlan's ....Uncle Mike, Aunt Julia, Son Arthur, Daughters Lillian and Elizabeth (Betty). Uncle Mike was a furniture salesman and owned the house. Charles Sr was an Electrician and rented the upstairs from Uncle Mike. You were all together, there, in 1930, at 3214 86th St Jackson Heights. So how come we never got to know ya ....Anna Tague?
Back In 1910 you lived at 710 3rd Ave in NY City with your Father, John, Your Mother, Catherine, 3 brothers, John, Charles and Walter, ..... 5 sisters Catherine, Frances, Alice, Ruth and Loretta. Your Father was born in New York and your Mother was born in Virginia. So how did they meet Anna? In the 1910 Census your mother, Catherine, was living with you at 710 3rd Ave, however in the 1915 Census she is not listed in your household anymore.
In 1914 you were 13 years old and your Mother, Catherine, also known as "Fannie", died of Breast Cancer at the age of 50. I know this because I have Fannies Death Certificate (see below). .....and the time of death (1914) and place of residence (710 3rd Ave) all match up.
She died in a home for terminally ill patients known as St Rose House, which is still there today. The name on the death certificate was Fannie, not Catherine. It just took me a little time to match documents and realize that Catherine and Fannie were one and the same person. A year and half later, on August 7, 1916, your father, John, died in Bellevue Hospital at 63 years of age. It must have been difficult for you to lose both your mother and father at such a tender age. However in 1916 your brother Charles was 26 years old. So somewhere between 15 and 19 years of age you moved to Jackson Heights, Queens with him.
So how come we never got to know ya ...Anna Tague?
This is pretty much where your story ends for now, however we have vowed to to keep searching to find out whatever happened to you ....Anna Tague.

In 1910 you were 8 years old living at 710 3rd Ave in New York City with your mother and many brothers and sisters
In 1915 you were 14 and still living at 710 3rd Ave however your mother was not part of the household any longer
Catherine Tague was also known as Fannie Tague and was your mother.
Fannie, the name they used on the death certificate, and who lived at 710 3rd Ave, died of Breast Cancer in 1914 at 50 years of age when you Anna, were just 13.

The irony of your residence at 710 3rd Ave is not that it looks like the original building is still there .....However today it is situated over a Blarney Stone. ....Go figure!! :) Other than the Irish connection, who even thought there were still Blarney Stone's in NYC. What was there in 1915 I wonder?
........and finally Anna you moved to Jackson Heights somewhere between 15 and 19 years of age. We now see you there in 1930 at 29 years of age with your brother Charles, his wife Isabelle, their sons Joseph and Charles and Mother in Law Elizabeth Carey.
With the exception of Elizabeth Carey, our Great Grandmother, who was long gone when we were born, we knew and/or visited everyone who once lived at 3214 86th St with the exception, also, of your brother Charles, our Grandfather, as he died when we were very young. However Charles was in many photos seen holding his Grandsons. But we never met you, nor were there any photos of you that we know.
